Yulia Kim is an interdisciplinary artist exploring painting, installation, collage, and handicrafts. Her current project explores rituals in Korean shamanism, using sambae fabric - a textile traditionally used in funeral rites - as a material link between displaced people in Korea and the grieving process.

Art and Art theory

She currently graduated from the University of Oxford, The Ruskin School of Art, with a Master of Fine Art. She is starting another Master’s degree in History of Art this September.
